The Artelier Gallery works with architects and interior designers to bring Malaysian art into hotels and commercial interiors, from concept to installation.
Led by an artist
Sharifah Bahiyah is a Malaysian artist whose paintings are displayed at the Negeri Sembilan State Museum. With a background in interior design, she curates as a maker, briefs artists as a peer, and plans every piece around the space. She believes Malaysian heritage deserves to be upheld, and each project is a chance to do that.
What we do
- Art strategy: an art story for each property, planned zone by zone and within budget.
- Curation: original works by Malaysian artists, including Sharifah's own.
- Commissions: paintings, sculpture and 3D works made for the site.
- Editions: limited and open-edition prints for guestrooms and corridors, with fair licensing for the artist.
- Production: printing and framing to hotel specification.
- Installation: a hanging plan for every piece, delivery and on-site supervision.
